Privacy Policy

This policy describes the operator-managed MarketEdge Backups utility and its public information website at backups.pixelkey.shop.

Data and purpose

When privately configured and authorized, the utility processes MarketEdge database copies and archive metadata to create, store, verify, and restore encrypted backups. Google Drive access is used to upload encrypted archives, list backup metadata, download archives for verification or recovery, and delete older backups in the designated backup folder. The intended workflow does not inspect unrelated Drive documents.

Google authorization

Google presents the permissions requested during OAuth authorization. Review that consent screen before approving access. The utility uses authorization tokens for unattended backup operations; it does not request your Google password. Tokens and encryption keys are kept in restricted private configuration outside this public website. Authorization is arranged privately by the operator; visiting these pages does not connect your account.

Encryption and storage

Archives are encrypted on the private server before being sent to Google Drive over HTTPS. The encryption key is stored separately from the uploaded archives. Temporary database copies and decrypted verification files are processed on the private server and removed when the backup operation completes normally. Google stores encrypted files and associated file metadata under its own service policies. Encryption does not eliminate every security risk.

Retention and deletion

The implemented retention policy keeps the latest 14 matching backup archives. Older matching archives are permanently deleted only after a new upload, download, and restoration check succeeds. If operations stop or fail, older files may remain until a later successful run or manual deletion. Account owners can delete archives directly in Google Drive.

You can revoke the application's access in Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not itself delete existing backups. To discontinue the utility, arrange with the operator to stop its schedule and remove retained credentials, keys, and private copies as appropriate. Keep any recovery key needed for archives you retain.

Sharing and limited use

Google user data is used only to provide the disclosed backup and recovery functions. It is not sold or used for advertising, profiling, or training AI models. Encrypted archives and necessary metadata are transferred to Google Drive for storage; backup files are not published on this website. Any other disclosure is limited to your authorization, necessary security handling, or applicable legal requirements.

MarketEdge Backups' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Website and requests

These informational pages use no analytics, advertising scripts, forms, or cookies. The web server may record request information such as IP address, requested path, time, and browser details for operation and security. For questions or deletion requests concerning the private utility, contact the MarketEdge operator through the channel used to arrange your access. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, or recovery keys. Material policy changes will be reflected on this page and communicated to affected authorized users before new data uses begin.
